Shepard Assignment not progressing (Xbox 360)

The Shepard assignment (which unlocks the AUG A3) requires 30 assault rifle kills and 10 squad revives. I have the 30 kills, and 6 of the revives, but for some reason it will no longer count any of the revives towards this assignment. I got the 6 revives ages ago, but since then no other revives have counted. This is extremely frustrating for me as I know I have revived at least 50+ squad mates in my time on Battlefield 3, and I would very much like to get this assignment done. Thankyou for any assistance you can offer.

P.S. I did contact EA directly, they told me to ask about it here (after leading me through many "solutions"). EA email response;

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.

I understand that revives soldier are not getting count in order to complete Shepard assignment so that you could not unlock AUG A3. Actually, these are online records and at customer support we might not be able to make any change in it. This problem usually comes up due to confliction of cache files. First, please clear the cache of your console by following the instruction mentioned below:

1. Locate the System section of the Xbox 360 Dashboard.
2. Select Memory, select Hard Drive, and then press Y to view the device options screen.
3. On the Controller, press the X, Left Bumper, and Right Bumper buttons in this order: X, X, LB, RB, X, X
4. You will be prompted to confirm system maintenance, select Yes by pressing A.

Usually, this should resolve the problem. Somehow if you still experience same problem, please post your concern on our official forum by referring the link given below:

YOU: The problem is still not resolved and I have not received any help on the battlelog forums you linked. Don't try and flick me off with some robotic answer please, I want this issue fixed and I'll be in contact until it is.

Thanks.

Thank you for getting back to me.

I understand that your revives are still not counting towards the assignment. I understand how upsetting this could be. The reason why I provided you the BF 3 forums link is because there are many veteran and experienced players who share their expertise and in game experiences on the Forums. Even I lookout for suggestions and in game tips on the forums whenever I come across an in game issue and it does help a lot. Please be assured that customers are our topmost priority and we would never want to give them a run around.

I am sorry to hear that you didn’t get any workaround for your issue on the forums link that I provided. As this is an in game issue and requires in game knowledge and practical gameplay, the best place to lookout for a solution would be EA HQ where players help other players with common (and uncommon) gaming issues. It's different from a regular forum in that it's focused on:

1. Getting answers from the experts
2. Providing answers to gain XP (the Answer HQ points system), badges, and other cool stuff
3. Ranking up and become the hero!
How do you get started?

Head over to http://answers.ea.com/ and simply log in with your personal EA/Origin credentials to start using the AnswerHQ now!

We are hoping for your utmost patience and understanding regarding this matter. Thank you for being a valued customer of Electronic Arts. Have a great day!

Anyone going to attempt to help...? I was pretty much told by EA customer support that they couldn't help me at all because it is an in-game issue...
