shouldn`t check game files check them and NOT DELETE THEM..............

Hi and can you actually do one working program that does it job right ? No ? How about servers that work ? No ? Could you maybe search for installed games that dont show up in library for some reason ? No ? Could I manually search a game ? Oh yes ???? But for some * reason when I do this is deletes every single file and I have been sitting here and enjoying these slow * servers download the game under 1mb/s speeds when steam goes atleast 4mbs and yes I know I dont have best connection but these shouldnt be this slow and checking game files shouldnt delete the whole game, I will never spend any money to your future stuff and I somehow would want that I could go back in time and not buy any of your products. You only release bug infested * shows for too many years now.

    Hey there, @icecubelel.

I totally get that. It can take a good while to verify and prepare the files, so that may be where it appeared to get stuck.

When the files are being verified, they're put into a temporary state, kind of like when you're installing a program. If you cancel the process, it tries to undo what it's done to that point, which may be why the 'temporary' files poofed.

If you do run across long verification times in the future, I recommend leaving it running and taking a break, then come back to it later to check on the status. While it's not as much help at the moment, I hope it does help in the future for you.

    Hey there, @icecubelel.

It's never any fun to redownload a game you already had instsalled. Let's see if we can figure out what's going on and causing the redownload.

I have a few questions if it's alright:

    1. Is the game you're working with an Origin title or a non-Origin title?
      • If non-Origin, are you adding it via the Games > Add Non-Origin Game menu option?
    2. Do you have your games in a different file path than the default game library location for Origin?

    3. Did you perform any troubleshooting prior to this, such as reinstalling Origin or other actions?

I look forward to hearing from you and working together with you on this.

Its a lost cause already, but i give you small talk how and what i tried downloading battlefield 1 to my c drive but at one point after downloading it incredibly slow i ran into my old bf1 data so i searched the origin how to get it read that this game is already installed and found u can manually put the origin to look and match the files and etc. The thing got stuck at some point and i cancelled that and somehow everything in there got deleted.... in simple as that and i really have no motivation to download the game back since it will take ages to download with these speeds, even with 1.5mb/s it would be ok but its really a pain since my pc`s sides are in other home and it really isn`t that quiet pc cause of my hyper fans.
