Some weapons - gadgets kills not registering

Product: Battlefield 1
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
Summarize your bug Some weapons - gadgets kills not registering on Battlefield1 Companions site or app.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You could check my statistics. For example: I have the mortar codex (10 kills with mortar) and the Chauchat telescopic, which requires to perform 10 kills with the Mortar. However, on the companion site or app it shows zero kills for Mortar Air or HE. I have over 100 kills with Crosswbow launchers (FRG or HE) but no Crosswbow Launchers dog tag (it is greyed out). Some weapons register zero kills (like the Lebel Model 1886 Sniper), even though I'm sure I have killed at least a couple of players with that Sniper Rifle. The same with the Martini-Henry.
What happens when the bug occurs? Stats don't show on the companion site or app, not getting dog tags, etc.

Unfortunately, I can only attach three pictures. I wasn't able to attach proof of having the Chauchat Telescopic, proof of having the Mortar Codex.

    I had a similar issue while trying to get the Chauchat Telescopic.  My issue is with the 15 kills in a round with the M1909 Benet-Mercie Telescopic.  I was able to get the 15 kills in a round and I ever received the notification in the game that the kills had occurred for the task.  And when they round finished and I went on to play another round, the kills weren't registered.

    Well, I remember that happened to me as well. What I ended up doing was: get the mortar kills and then the kills with the weapon. 

    The strange thing is that if I go to my stats to check how many mortar kills I have, it shows zero (but i have the mortar codex and the Chauchat Telescopic).

    I had a similar issue while trying to get the Chauchat Telescopic. Just reached the 15/15 headshots with M1909 Benet-Mercie Telescopic.

    BattleOP4, try the mortar kills first, then try the kills with the Benet-Mercie. That's what worked for me.

    I know there are a few wrong Stats showing for some Weapons. We can just wait that a new Patch will fix that.

    But about your Crossbow kills + Dog Tag, this Tag we just got new with the TSNP DLC. So the kills for that Dog Tag just start counting all that what you got after the DLC drop. All the Crossbow kills what you had before doesn't count!

    Dear @Its_Travis_199;

    Thank you for your answer. Didn't know that specific dog tag was related to the TSNP DLC.

    My concern is that because of those stats now being reggistered, we are missing stuff and in-game content. And that could also happen with promotions like zodiac dog tags or others.

    Let's hope EA and/or DICE address these concerns.

    About the wrong showing Stats and stuff we probably can't do anything, just posting Feedback in the Forums.

    But the Dog Tag for the 100 Crossbow Kills isn't a Bug or wrong! They want it like that, that the players just can start working for the Dog Tag after TSNP release, if they want. And that it's not instantly unlocked because you already had 100 kills before.

    Reminder: Same as it was with the new Elite-Codex Entries, they needed 500 Kills with the weapon. And the counter started at 0 after this Patch where they come with!
