sound cuts off when i click on something in bf4 menu (battlelog)

When I launch bf4, I have sound until I click on something an then the game freezes for about 5 secs and when it unfreezes there is no sound anymore.

    i plugged my headphones in the 3.0 usb slot and it worked.

repairing the game did not solve my problem... and the sound bug is in the game in general, even in the menu.

ok so i just figured out that the game was muting as soon as i click somewhere with my mouse. i joined a game by using only my keyboard and as soon as i used my mouse the game muted.
