Sound goes missing every 10 seconds or so. More often the more people on the server.
As the title says. My sound is mostly fine when playing on small servers. But when more stuff starts happening, the sound cuts off completely, only to return a litte while later. Sound may be missing for about 5 sec at a time. Sometimes, only a part of the soundworld dissapears. Eg. all gunfire or tank engine goes missing.
Googling around, people have suggested changing some values in PROFSAVE_profile, namely "GstAudio.AudioQuality". This has had no effect.
I recall having the same issue in BF3, but much more rarely. Now it happens in every minute of gameplay.
Specs as follows.
ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO
Phenom 2 x4 955 @3,8GHz
ASUS HD6970, Catalyst 13.11
Win 8.1 and Win 7, no difference.
Does not matter if I use my USB headset or my speakers. I've updated motherboard audio drivers to their latest (2010) version.
Thanks

If so, probably the problem is the cpu overclock, bf4 have some problem with Phenom overclock, and the sound only work fine if run cpu at stock clock.
The tip is to you turn back the clock to stock and play the game to see if work.
This guy come with same problem and have a phenom 960t overclocked to 3.8ghz:
