Spawn Beacons
I have a few questions about beacons. First question, If Im playing a map like Kharg Island sometimes I parachute and sometimes I don't.. but on other maps, I never parachute? My second question is that if I am laying a beacon down is there a way that I can control which way I parachute?
Spawn beacons have a variety of conditions for how you spawn on them.
If a Beacon is indoors you will always spawn on it on the ground facing the way the recon was looking when the beacon was placed.
On certain maps outdoors you will spawn in the air with a parachute facing the way the recon was looking when the beacon was placed.
You can control how your parachute floats down but the placement of the beacon decides which way your going.
The directional sticks/buttons will let you control your tilt and yaw while parachuting.
A good idea is to decelerate right before you hit the ground to minimize the fall damage you take.
It is still possible to die while parachuting if you fall too fast.
