Squad suppression assists not counting towards some medals

Product: Battlefield 1
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Squad suppression assists do not count towards the progress of any medals. I am not 100% sure if it's intentional or not, but I'm reporting it to be on the safe side.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1) Have Order of St. Cristopher or Crimson Heart active 2) Get to the requirement which asks you to get suppression assists (15 and 10, respectively) 3) Get a Squad Suppresion Assist 4) The assist will not count towards the medal.
What happens when the bug occurs? Squad suppression assists are not added to the tally for the medal.

In what game mode did the bug occur? Domination
AMD or Nvidia Model Number
Enter RAM memory size in GB

Not much to add besides that. While I can't count out that it might be intentional, it doesn't feel like it.

Also, this issue can be found both in pre- and post-patch versions.

    Does it shows on the screen that you got the Squad-supression assist, and just not counting for the Medal? Or does it not show up on the screen as well?

    Of course it does, otherwise I would have no way of distinguishing normal suppression from squad suppression.

    (I will be making more of a report drop soon by the way, I have quite a bit of video evidence to work with)

    I have 9/10 squad supr. *. And I've got at least two SSA, but they didn't coun't toward medal goal.

    As of 3/30/17 it is still not fixed. I'm working on the order of St. Christopher and none of my squad suppression assists have counted toward unlocking the medal.

    On XBONE, I had both Order of St. Christopher and Crimson heart as two of my medals this week. When doing OoSC, the suppression assists would NOT count squad suppression assists and only counted team non-squad suppression assists. CH counted both squad and non-squad suppression assists.

    Jea for some reason the squad medals both Legion of sacred unity and legion of glory seemed to be glitch, and oh what a pain those were to get!!...it took maybe like 7-10 of those for just one to register!...stood up all night hunting that one down but got it lol and once I did I equipped and rocked it for like 3weeks for having been such nuisance xD

    I have had the same problem on Xbox One when doing Legion of Sacred Unity. I tried completing it two separate time and I gave up.

    Same on xbox 1 for legion of unity medal... had this medal 3 times and not been able to complete it

    Thanks for pointing me in the direction of that post @EA_Joker. I have added some notes to the post explaining the slight difference i get with the bug
