Start game, mouse and keyboard do not work

No changes with anything and everything been fine for months, but suddenly last week could load game but mouse wouldn't click on buttons, sometimes can see mouse pointer but it won't click on buttons...

Hey @RENAME5987,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

However, have you tried updating the drivers for your mouse?

Also, if you're running Discord at the same time by any chance, go to your settings and turn off the Discord Overlay. Sometimes this causes an issue.

I would also try repairing the game files in the Origin Launcher.

I have tried a repair, I think it can only be the game, if mouse and kb work fine on a monitor at 1080, should also work fine on 4k tv, and does sometimes, other times only if window mode, has to be some glitch with the game and with so many people having the same and similar issues, EA should address it, just can't figure why it suddenly started doing it as nothing had changed in-between it working ok for months, and now having this issue in the last week. Spoke to PC company that built it and first thing to do seems to be uninstall the game and reinstall it. Tried everything else I've seen, unplugging other devices, turning off Origin in game, don't have Discord, not sure it could be mouse drivers as kb is affected at the same time and on different drivers, has to be the game.

      Thanks for your message, I have seen that post/fix on my 'journey' but I don't have that update, this was a new pc in December and that Creators Update is not one it has done since I bought it.

      Played fine last night but only by p[laying in windowed mode, not the end of the world but if you're OCD like me you want it full screen.

        Definitely understandable about wanting to play in Fullscreen.

        What other steps have you tried recently, to fix this issue?

        Have you tried loading up BF4, and switching over to Battlefield 1 on the left side of the screen where it shows your platoon tab and everything?

        I've heard this works sometimes. 

        Also, have you tried contacting EA Support via Live Chat, to see if they might have some more ideas for you that might clear up this issue?
