Static sound/screech

Each time I open the main menu, campaign, multiplayer i hear a loud static noise or screech. I have this laptop exactly one week, its killing the game for me. I've reab about screeches but it was mos...

    Thanks for the inforamtion. 

    If the above steps don't work please  try to disable Origin in-game option for Battlefield 1 in Origin client and relaunch the game.

    Also, check if you have any third-party sound related software running in the background, which can possible disrupt game`s sounds, disable those programs temporary and test the game.

    Have you tried going into the BF1 in game audio settings and resetting them to default?

    What you can also do is a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with your windows and BF1. 

    It might be the headset itself. Could you try use another audio output and check it again?

Hey @D1eterR 

Does this only happen with Battlefield?

Please try these steps : 

1. Uninstall Origin https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/

2. Install the latest Windows Updates

3. Repair Battlefield 1 in Origin Library. 

4. Open Origin and Battlefield 1 as administrator.

5. Run a windows integrity scan as detailed here: 

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026529/windows-10-using-system-file-checker

6. Install the newest sound drivers. If you have newest version please reinstall it.

    Yes it only happens with Battlefield 1.

    Going through the steps now, step 1 - 4 without result so far.

        @CapitanRoyon Disabling Origin in-game didn't work. I'm not using any headset. I've changed the audio settings, changed them to default, still no result.

        It seems I have realtek audio + AMD high definition audio device running. Is this what you mean with third-party software?
