Out of curiousity, have you tried running the DirectX installer from MS to see if everything is up to date?

yep it said no installation necessary so yes i have the newest direct x

Clean reinstall of GPU drivers? By that I mean using cc cleaner and remove all trace of any old driver causing issues

yes but didnt use cc cleaner i used a guide i found online, as i said i removed everything, folders and registry entries in regedit

just read on the official bf4 forums somwhere about when the game loads, go to desktop and close the browser and it seems to be working fine so far on x86 mode 13.11 beta 8 drivers, i will now try with the same drivers playing the game in x64 mode

im geting many of these directx errors as well with ati radion 6970 with 13.11 driver

happens within a min of tryign to enter a server when the client launchers

ok guys x64 mode same drivers and browser closed, didnt work so now back to x86

have you tried starting the Campaign missions, then minimising and joining a Multiplayer server, that's the only way I can play the game without it crashing.
