I know this game is kinda old but I downloaded it to replay the campaign. I got to the third mission where you go on the sinking ship and get the voyage recorder thing, and I can’t pass the swimming part, my character just won’t swim forward, I finally got him to swim about halfway but then he started swimming very slow and he couldn’t get through the doorway, and when I stopped holding w he got pushed backwards and I lost all my progress.

This is unfortunately one of those bugs that was left behind in the Campaign game part...
For many, you can still manage to get through it by pressing the button to pause and then resuming the game. Sometimes this will unfortunately only get you part of the way under water. Many players have over the years expressed another workaround that appear to bring them to the goal and get out of the water in the end, name to use your keys/joystick to wiggle your soldier from side to side, by looking up, looking down, look right and then look left. Keep doing this and you will see that your soldier slowly but surely progress through the underwater passage as needed to get to the open way out. It may feel a bit silly, and most probably not what the developers had in mind. So at times it may take you like 6-8 minutes like this. But you will get the soldier through it and you can continue your Campaign game.
I just actually asked Steam for a refund because this game is not working as it should be working. Never played it before and I ws enjoying it. But in my honest opinion, the game is broken. So I want my money back.
