Terrible lag issues for Battlefield One

I purchased Battlefield 1 last week and enjoyed the campaign, but multiplayer seems to have a terrible lag to it. I have an RX 480 and an i5 5500. Should be capable of running all games at 1080p medium-ultra settings (depends on the game). But for battlefield it wont even run low setting smoothly,,,, The game play seems like it skips a few frames every couple of seconds and makes it nearly unplayable. The issue is not my connection to the servers. I checked and my latency was under 100. Please get back to me if you have an answer 🙂

  • An i5-6600K is listed for the Minimum Requirements to run Battlefield 1. You need more processing power. Check your CPU temperatures.
I have an i5-6600K with a GTX 1070 and my CPU gets maxed out all the time.

  • Hello @Nathomon,

Sorry to hear about this issue you are experiencing.

Have you tried power cycling your Router? I suggest unplugging everything for a few minutes, and plugging everything back in.

If this does not fix the issue, please make sure that DX11 is enabled, and not DX12.

Also, please try Uninstalling/Reinstalling Battlefield 1 as well.

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let us know.

    Thanks 🙂
