Texture Flickering While Zooming In

Hello, I've been having the following issue for months now and it's gotten to the point where it makes sniping unbearable. My problem is the whenever I zoom in with my scope the textures start flickering insanely, absolutely everything starts flickering. Here is a video example of exactly what happens https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pkdUz8o5Q8 (I know the video is of BF3 but I get the exact same thing in BF4).

    This is my rig:

Video Card: GTX 780 TI

CPU: i7-3770k @3.5GHZ

RAM: 16GB Kingston Predator DDR3 @2666MHZ

Motherboard: Asus Formula V

OS: Win 8.1

I would like to mention that before I changed my old graphic card (ATI) with this new one (about 1 month ago) I had the exact same problem. So changing graphic cards and 2 completely different driver sets did absolutely nothing to improve my problem.

I could really appreciate some help on the matter. Thank you in advance.

It seems not to be an issue with your GPU if you have the same problem with two different videocards but it makes troubleshooting a bit more difficult. Usually texture flickering like this is an issue with your GPU but something on your system must interfer with our Frostbyte engine, especially as you have this problem with BF3 and BF4.

You should delete and re-install your Direct X as well as Microsoft .NET Framework. Try to uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ x64 and x86 versions of 2010 and 2012 in order to reinstall with Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 3. Have you ever re-installed Origin and checked if this issue still appears with a lower in-game video setup?

    Cheers

  • Hello, I apologize for the late reply but I did not have a chance to try out what you suggested. Now I have done everything that you posted and unfortunately the problem persists although there seems to be less flickering in certain maps. Is there anything else I can do? I would also like to mention that a friend of mine recently purchased the game and he is experiencing the exact same issues that I am.
