The new Anti-Cheat system is intrusive and doesn't change much!

I launched the game and loaded a match after the Anti-Cheat update and haven't found a match that a hacker doesn't occupy. Having this on your system on a kernel level isn't worth the time and control you grant them. Too much money has probably been put into adding this feature so this is our new normal. I hope it gets better but I'm afraid Battlefield and any other feature titles will be unplayable for the rest of its service on PC.

  • It is not correct to blame the anti-cheat systems alone for players still seeing cheaters in games.

Rather, this shows the extent of the cheating and the lengths some are willing to go to get around security measures.

It's ironic when players complain that an anti-cheat works at the kernel level, when the same level is used by hackers who create cheats.
In that case, players seem to trust the person behind the company fully, even though it is a hacker they are dealing with.

But not at the gaming companies who have to do the same thing, to even have the opportunity to detect the cheats that work at the kennel level.
