The next BF game could use better visibility.
Based on my BFV experience I would like to point out that the developing team should put some more thoughts on the visibility of enemies in the next game.
While there have been some improvements over the patches, in places like the Devastation map, the players and the terrain seem to often blend too well together.
In BFV PC it has been the general consensus that for the best visibility experience, one needs to put EVERY setting (like terrain detail etc) to LOW. This means that there is less terrain clutter to interfere with discerning enemies from boulders, grass etc. Having the mesh quality on low also makes infantry in some later released maps look like white-hot silhouettes when looked at from a long distance (as with a high power scope or the cockpit of a plane)
I do not know about games before BF3, but the art style that exists from BF3 and after, really depends a lot the assistance of 3D spotting. BFV's attempt to depart from the Q spotting that everyone could use, only exposed the weakness of this art style.
People do need to have "Doritos" to shoot in order to perform good enough as demonstrated by how the flare spotting hastens the demise of most people.
So I believe that the next BF needs either an art style that is easier to peoples eyes or the return of the BF3/4 spotting button.
