This PB Server Requires (A1386 C2.325) - Error loading pbcl

Every time I load BF3 I can play for about 5mins before I get booted.  The message I get is "Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'SM1L1NGR34P3R' (for 0 minutes) ... This PB Server Requires (A1386 C2.325) - Error loading pbc".  I have updated browser plug-ins, repaired the install, deleted the cookies, restarted my PC and nothing has worked.  Where do I go from here??  Also the "featured today" pop-up in origin is beyond annoying verging on intolerable.

    I couldn't get the update to work without getting an error that it couldn't create a htm file.

    The only way I could get the above process to work is to

    1) Delete the PunkBuster Folder in the USERS>...>APPDATA>LOCAL>

    2) Delete the content in the folder PROGRAM FILES (x86)> ORIGIN GAMES>BATTLEFIELD 3>PB>

    3) Download the PBSETUP.EXE to the PB Folder

    4) Run Setup and complete process and updates as described.

    Since this is an integral part of the game why not just update it automatically?

    I couldn't get the update to work without getting an error that it couldn't create a htm file.

    The only way I could get the above process to work is to

    This is so lame,,, The punkbuster website is down now. cant even DL the program after electing. Come on EA

    EA does not control Punkbuster and are thus not responsible if their website is down. You can always go into a server without Punkbuster.

    Please accept the solution if it's correct and press the XP button if somebody helped you.

    I tried everything I could find here and elsewhere regarding this issue and here's the only solution that worked:

    Uninstall BF3, avoid EA games like the plague, and enjoy their competitor's products from now on. I'm never giving EA another dime. To hell with them and their shoddy work. This was a great game in spite of its failings, but this issue is last straw. Never again!
