ToS, Naming and Shaming and Almost Everything Else ...
1st off:
The ToS. seeing that it is frequently edited by whomever and the administrators assume that everyone reads the modifications to the agreement. (Not everyone does or has the chance, forget where the ToS is placed etc etc ...) an administrator that edits the ToS should also provide a link not only on or in Battlelog, but email every person that play the game in which the ToS has been modified as well as share or post something that would say "the ToS has been modified" and provide something so that people would have the ability to view the updated agreement rather than assume they read it. This would mean that the administrator would have to post something within Origin on the login screen. Yes it means more work, however if you're going to modify an agreement and NOT provide any information that the agreement has been modified but rather assume that people know the agreement has been modified. The administrator('s) are crazier than I am.
There are current in circulation providing you know exactly what to search for, the original ToS agreements. which I did read when I originally purchased the game, back when it was released:
"It is a sequel to 2011's Battlefield 3 and was released on October 29, 2013 in North America, October 31, 2013 in Australia, November 1, 2013 in Europe and New Zealand and November 7, 2013 in Japan for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One."
Since its release the ToS is fluently modified yet there is no links to tell users the agreement has has been altered ...
[link]http://eacom.s3.amazonaws.com/EULA_BF3_final2_8.29.11.pdf[/link] is not comparable to that of the current agreement in no way or form. It does not state that someone can or cannot post links to sites that ruin the game (Most admins or moderators will know what I'm getting at on this).
[link]https://www.origin.com/en-ca/termsofservice[/link] this one states effective immediately, however I was not emailed nor was told about the changes made. due to the fact that I purchased Battlefield 4 when it was released and these changes took effect several years later, if these changes to the ToS were made the day I purchased Battlefield 4 I would have known of them, but I did not and I don't think a lot of people knew of the changes ...
My assumptions are not that of your assumptions, as we do not communicate telepathically.
If you're going to modify something especially an agreement, post a link AND email your clients. Don't just assume they're going to read it and move. usually doesn't work or happen and people like myself get a year ban on their accounts for posting links to websites that violate a modified terms and conditions agreement that the person being banned for, "AS I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE MODIFICATIONS MADE" !!!
When someone goes to a garage and they make changes to your vehicle, do they generally tell you before hand what exactly needs changing? or when you take you computer into the shop to have it repaired or upgraded or what have you, they generally explain that "such and such" has been or will be changed, they don't just do the changes and expect you to assume you already knew about them.
Common sense is like deodorant, a lot of people JUST DON'T USE !!!

2ndly:
Naming and Shaming:
In some instances it may help, however my gamer tag and an all out ban placed on it while in or on a server for something that was said by their own clan member, Not me!
The server gave me a ban code which stated go to the following web page to appeal the ban, however upon attempting to find out what exactly I did. apparently my IP was banned making it extremely difficult to find out exactly what I did.
As for what was said by the clan member: "was something to the effect of him being able to shoot thru impenetrable objects while using something that gave him that ability".
As soon as he said that, I was kicked from the server only to find out that I was banned.
Oh sure a link was provided, however after talking to a few other guys that played on their server, they told me that the rule is an unwritten rule. or a dead link ...
Mad, no. why would I be mad, I didn't do anything wrong to get mad over. Baffled uh yeah!, beyond any word can say is more like it, especially since I used my credit card to help pay for their server rental fee's.
My GPU (ATI Radeon) usually records my game play, however being that it died and had to be RMA'd and I do not know the current settings of Nvidia's recording feature. Its now a case of my word against there's.
I wanted to find out if anyone else has been banned from said server but not being allowed to basically share the server name or clan name makes it extremely difficult to find any information without the worry of being banned from a forum for posting a "Naming and Shaming" post.
Please explain to me and the rest of the world how someone would go about finding out if someone else has been banned from a server without being allowed to say which server or who banned them?
Its almost like ** or whomever allow these groups or clans to take a payment and in turn out right ban someone with NO explanation as to why the ban is set and to myself this sounds like a scam. "Take a payment, then ban him/her from the server without giving a valid explanation as to why". And unwritten rules do not apply !

3rdly:
Anything Else:
Donations on and for server rentals:
I constantly see servers spamming messages stating "X servers don't run on love of the game alone" or "If you have any money to spare" "great servers don't ..." etc ...
I was told on a website sponsored by this game company:
"You DONATED money, you didn't buy a product, you didn't buy the rights for you to be on their servers. You basicly said "here, take these monies, I like what you are doing" and that's it."
If I'm just donating money to a server and am not buying anything, then explain to the server administrators that these messages "STOP IMMEDIATELY".
Especially these servers that BEG for money. If they cannot afford to put a server without the worry of being able to afford the server rental fee's, they REALLY need to give their head a shake. Either that or these people that rent these servers are trying to create a side income only failing at it without actually doing any research in the field.
And generally a donation is technically paying for something regardless of the situation, You're paying to help them pay for the server rental fee('s). So YES I AM PAYING THEM MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND FOR THAT I SHOULD HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE ON THAT SERVER!
-I have operated Two businesses in my life time and my customers had every right to come back on me if the job was not done they way they expected it done, the people that do not request my services, walk into my business or even make an inquiry do not have the right to come back on me or my business. That would be like a person buying a product from a total different source only to go back on the original company that made the product and demand something for nothing!
THAT IS NOT HOW THE WORLD WORKS!
I rented a server, am having some difficulties setting up the plugins I would like to run on the server. I'll eventually get them working is just going to take a little bit of time. as for giving up on the server, screw that. This is a game developer in which I fully support regardless of who likes me or who dislikes me!
--- --- ---
If I do something wrong, I am generally the first to admit to it and take what is given to me as punishment. But not knowing of any changes made to an agreement and banning me for something you only assume I know or knew about. well I have a word for that and its not a nice word, but I won't say it here cause someone 'Might' get offended.
My other gamer tag is: 2-Point-O
Like me, Great.
Dislike me, that's really not my issue ...
Cry me a river, * me a lake. whatever tickles your pickle ...
1. Answers HQ is a community where gamers help fellow gamers. It's not direct customer support. That's located at help.ea.com.
If you have any questions reguarding the general EA terms of service(TOS) you should contact EA support not ask here, your fellow gamers have no power over the TOS.
2. If you believe someone has done anything wrong you can report them like described in: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-report-cheating/
If you've been banned by EA and want to dispute it you can do it like described here: http://help.ea.com/en/article/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts/ - noone on the forums can unban you. The naming and shaming rule is there because otherwise the forums would just be people blaming other people for things they might not have done and EA don't want this.
3. I'm not going to explain to you what a donation is more than I already have, if you are interested in reading up on the word this link will help you:

If you believe a server breaks the rules or terms required by EA for such a server then you can report it by contacting EA support at http://help.ea.com
