Hi, So before I got a new PS4 I discovered that you can actually transfer stats from PS3 to PS4. A prompt is supposed to show up when you first open the game asking you. So I got my PS4 today and opened the game on the exact same PSN account and no prompt ever showed. I'm stuck with a Level 00 soldier. After some more research it seems that this issue is widespread where it sometimes prompts for stat transfer and sometimes doesn't. In the case it doesn't it seems that the best recommendation was to contact EA support. After contacting them by phone (that was the only option available), I talked to 2 different support reps who confidently stated that stats do NOT transfer. Regardless of my explanation of any prompts, both reps stated that stats do not transfer at all. So, my question is, can I really not transfer stats? If I can transfer stats and support is supposed to help me, how do I contact them now? Is there some other avenue of contact?

I'm closing this thread to stop it being necroed. Update regarding of transferring stats from PS3/Xbox 360 to PS4/XboxOne is no longer available. Okay so I literally solved my own issue.

If you go into battlelog and click on your profile picture to bring you to the overview of your profile. After that, click on "Edit Profile" and then click on the "Soldiers Tab".

For me it has both PS3 and PS4 soldiers there. The first column is titled "Active". Click on the bar on the PS4 soldier to make that one "active" and then click save. Now when you open BF4 on your PS4, you will get the prompt to transfer your stats.

so when i did the transferring stats on this wonderful game i hit save and hit set as active soilder and it brings me back to the level 00 character help please

This worked for me..:
Log out of your psn account, then open bf4, and select multiplayer. It will not allow online play as you are signed out. Hold ps button and select freinds, it will give option to sign back into psn. After signing in. Go back to bf4 and the prompt will come up when you try to go multiplayer for second time

I also had this issue, tried everything already listed above and still got no prompt.
What sorted it for me though, was uninstalling the game entirely (I had digital download), deleting all BF4 save data on the console and reinstalling.
Once reinstalled I got the prompt.
I spoke to EA support (they weren't able to help unfortunately) but they said this definitely is a one time thing so if you decline the swap or don't ever get the prompt apparently there is othing they can do to help you. So be careful (if anyone is still doing this...)
