Transferring Stats from PS3 to PS4

Hi,

So before I got a new PS4 I discovered that you can actually transfer stats from PS3 to PS4. A prompt is supposed to show up when you first open the game asking you.

So I got my PS4 today and opened the game on the exact same PSN account and no prompt ever showed. I'm stuck with a Level 00 soldier. 

After some more research it seems that this issue is widespread where it sometimes prompts for stat transfer and sometimes doesn't. In the case it doesn't it seems that the best recommendation was to contact EA support.

After contacting them by phone (that was the only option available), I talked to 2 different support reps who confidently stated that stats do NOT transfer. Regardless of my explanation of any prompts, both reps stated that stats do not transfer at all. 

So, my question is, can I really not transfer stats? If I can transfer stats and support is supposed to help me, how do I contact them now? Is there some other avenue of contact?

    Update regarding of transferring stats from PS3/Xbox 360 to PS4/XboxOne is no longer available. 
     
    If you have any issues with Battlefield 4 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.

    Hy friends ... I m facing this problem ... 

    I did what you said and did not have my status upgraded. I will try to delete everithing on ps4 and download again . 

    Is a problem if I played on ps3 region 1 and on ps4 bought the game region 2 ?

    Hey @flavio0campos

    If you purchased the games from different regions it sounds like that could be an issue with transferring the data from previous gen to next-gen. I recommend contacting our Live-Support so they can pull up your account to see what they can do to possibly fix this for you.

    I can't make any provided solution work for me. I even tried contacting the EA Support for this and they said that nothing should be transferable as far as they know.

    I have achieved like 130hs on my PS3 soldier with a lots of assignments and unlocks and I'd like to keep playing from that point instead of starting over. 

    Has anybody recently successfully transferred the online stats?
