Unable to add friends on Battlelog

Good day/evening depending on your location. I recently achieved Battlefield 3 too from EA's On the House and enjoyed the game. But there is only 1 problem I have with Batlelog. I can't add friends,...

They are able to see that I have sent a request but when they want to accept it it says "Request not found"

And when I go on their profile I can only see the "Chat" button, no add friend button.

When I try to chat it also says "You are not friends".

It really annoys me.
