Unable to download browser plugin - SWEET JESUS PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME

I'm trying to update my browser plugin but when I try to click 'Open Game Manager' nothing happens. The blue icon in the top right area of the browser is also unclickable.  I've been trying for a wee...

Download and install the latest Battlelog Web Plugin from this link http://battlelog-cdn.battlefield.com/public/download/

Advised that you restart your computer system after installation.

    Good news, the link worked and I was able to download the latest plugin. Though things still arent working. 

    There are still problems going on with the browser. The friends menu on the right hand side is unclickable. Also, none of the servers are showing a ping. I can't tell which game I have a better connection to.

    What is the issue? Are there any programs available the bypass the web browser?
