OMG I had the same problem and I fixed it! Go into your system settings and into the storage menu. Delete the cache on your main HDD and restart the game. For some reason, my game installed a new update and when I cleared the cache, it didn't reinstall it, leading me to believe that for some reason, it was a faulty or accidental update.
