Unable to unlock hellriegel

Product: Battlefield 1
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Unable unlock Hellriegel 1915 Factory. I am the required assault rank and this is shown in the companion app and in the menus. In game it says I am level 9 and I am gaining no experience.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unsure
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to unlock hellriegel
Please select your region Australia
In what game mode did the bug occur? Conquest
AMD or Nvidia Model Number
Enter RAM memory size in GB

    Yours appears to be a unique case, but they should be able to look into it. 

    It's worth intermittently checking the bar on the customize page for your Assault, in case it does come unstuck on its own.

    Just saying installing and reinstalling doesn't work just tried it

    Thank you for the details. Unfortunately I have no way to directly assist, all I can do for now is to gather info. 

    Can I check the platform those having this problem are on? 

    As a quick rule, you'll want to check your class rank/progress within a match itself, this is the most reliable reflection of your progress. If it appears to be stuck, please play a match, then let it load into the next one and check your class from within the deploy menu to see if it's moved at all.

    Tried all your suggestions. Still not progressing. Companion app shows I'm at or nearly at level 11 Assult class and no option to unlock. In game customize menu shows 10 but unable to unlock. In game menu is stuck at 9. I'm running on a new Xbox One S Battlefield edition.

    As a side note I can use the Hellriegel in game if I pick up a dropped opponents kit. I have done this a couple of times but so far get whacked right after I get my hands on it. I've got 4 kills with it

    Looks exactly like mine. Similar amount of XP, I was at 515k as well. Just submitted a ticket myself.

    THIS GAME IS SO INCREDIBLY BROKEN!!! I am getting totally owned by an OP gun that I have earned but cannot actually get.... either fix it or take it away because this isn't fair
