Unchangeable FOV in singleplayer (Battlefield 4, PC)

This is seriously the worst piece of **bleep** i've ever experienced, i'm getting motion sickness within a minute of gameplay when playing singleplayer. What a load of ass**bleep**, i paid $120 for this?

Can you take a screenshot of the graphics options and the main settings window ? could have sworn I could change it in the beta. Unless the single player is different

Have you tried running Origin as administrator before launching Battlefield 4? Just a thought, but sometimes administrator permissions can cause issues with your ability to tweak settings.

If you've tried that, I'm curious, what operating system are you running? And is it 32 bit, or 64 bit?

You can change it, but multiplayer only, just like in bf3, like i wrote before it's a way to make the game run smoothly on console all the way through since you are limiting how much of the screen is actually viewed, and while the game might be designed towards a FOV of 55 (artisticly that is) it is very bad for players who get motion sickness, and i'm not one that gets it easily, this is the first time experiencing it in a game but then again most games have 60 FOV as a minimum.

Otherwise check my documents for BF4 folder and then in the settings sub folder there should be a settings xml or something like that. Go look through it

Nah the file PROFSAVE_profile contains the setting for the FOV in the settings, it requires a 3rd party software to change the FOV in singleplayer just like BF3 since it's hardcoded in as 55. (read up on a bunch of stuff since i made the thread in anger)

Maybe try a hex editor like in this video for BF3, just look for similar code in the BF4 file

Yeah problem is that there isn't a setting for the singleplayer FOV in that file, just multiplayer since the singleplayer one is hardcoded.

This is total BS and DICE should have known better then to release the game like this. 

how can anyone play or enjoy the campaign with the BS FOV locked down!

I have the same issue.

The FOV is so low I can't physically play the game, it's nauseating me.

FIX IT NOW.
