Unlocking the m1 grand in battlefield bad company 2

In order to unlock the M1 Garand in BFBC2, you must 2 Battlefield games under your account. Either battlefield 1943 or BF3. On my PS3, I unlocked the M1 Garand for having Bf3 and Bad company 2. It is basically a reward for being a battlefield veteran.
