Vehicle customisation

As far as Im aware, the only way to purchase setups and to customize vehicles is via the vehicle spawns, there is no way you can do in either the main menu or the in-game customizing menu. You have to wait for a vehicle spawn to be available to access vehicle customization.

Is there plans for vehicle customization to be a part of the main menu, or at least the main respawn screen?
  • One of the Gamechangers mentioned in one of his videos that it´s planned to change that in an upcoming patch (I even thought it would have been in the recent one).

If I remember correctly, vehicles shall be customized in the deploy screen, even if no vehicle is available.

I can´t tell the exact source anymore, might have been 1-2 weeks ago, but I´m pretty sure about it.

So yes, hopefully DICE is planning to change that 🤞🙂

@Ourumov13 I recall having seen/heard this before. Might have been Westie or Flakfire who mentioned it in one of their videos. Still looking forward to this option as well.

@CdoddersCurrently the only vehicle customization that can be done outside in-game vehicle spawn is selecting which package to use on each vehicle, do you mean this by setup? You can change this via the web companion or the companion app on your phone. Purchasing could be done in the same section. Go to https://www.battlefield.com/companion/career and select loadout, you will get the customization options to change your class loadouts, but scroll down and there will be the vehicles. Select any of them and you will get to the full list of vehicles where you change your packages per type.

Ah fair enough, I was hoping they would implement a similar system to BF4 but with main menu customisation in the future
