I'm guessing you're ping is normal for other web-connections? You could run you're own localized server but that would mean it would be unranked? What is your ping to a EU/ch / in / jp server? If you have a good internet connection it could also mean there is too much traffic on the network. Also if a product has limited functionality in a certain region of the globe it should say so clearly on the box!
Hey @Houdi7,
Have you tried any of the Connection Troubleshooting steps?
You can do so here:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/
Also, have you opened the recommended Ports for Battlefield 1 on your Router?
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/
Try these steps, and let us know if anything improves.
Thanks 🙂
- I have this problem with etisalat as my main ISP.
Its not only me, all of my friends that are based in the uae have the same issue!
The only workaround was to connect to Dubai-based VPN in order to play.
No VPN -> 290ms ping
With VPN -> 25ms
I can provide you with MTR test
It was actually an issue for more than 6 months!
Tried to contact i3d.net (bf1 dubai server provider ) and no effective response from their side. - EA_Atic7 years ago

Hey, @TheDark1ne If VPN bypasses the issue in itself then there is an issue on your ISP. VPN will bypass any restrictions that your ISP would have on your network.
I would recommend getting in contact with your ISP and ask what is going on, other than that there is not much I can do to help you or recommend to try out./Atic
- Thank you Atic. I know it is a problem with my ISP but I was hoping an official statement from your side sent to the ISP asking to fix their routing. Apparently, the call support best effort is to tell me to restart my router.
