Weapons/Gadgets randomly switching in-game

Having a problem in-game where my character will randomly switch between weapons/gadgets. Have tried switching my mouse out, including deleting drivers and reinstalling. Will happen in-game at random times. Every 30 sec or so. Will not be pressing any buttons and will even switch if I'm actively shooting at someone, it will switch to a medpack all of a sudden, or even my secondary. Will be sprinting or running and it will happen as well. Only have had the game on pc for about 2 weeks. Started happening a few days ago. I do use a joystick when flying but always have it unplugged if I'm not on a map with jets. I have seen some threads on other forums stating that leaving in the joystick while using the mouse was a problem at one point. I also play Planetside 2 with no problems at all.
