The first scrap exchange update was on March 14th, 2017 ("In Westie's video, we can see that there's a new feature called Scrap Exchange").

This update is number #23 on the Battlefield 1 fandom page:
Added on March 14th, 2017, and taken off the rotation March 24th, 2017, this battlepack was released to celebrate the release of the Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass expansion pack.

Jaqub Ajmal's first scrap exchange update was on Jul 2, 2018 (this was the #95th update in the game):

Jaqub Ajmal's last scrap exchange update was on Sep 28, 2020:
Battlefield Producer Jaqub Ajmal Departs DICE After 10 Years (February 7, 2021)

After Jaqub Ajmal's departure, i think Straatford87 took over the update (Tom Stratford or Tom Stratman?):

Global Community Manager, Battlefield Apr 2023 - Present
Core Community Manager, Battlefield Dec 2020 - Jun 2023 (Stockholm)
Community Manager Jun 2017 - Dec 2020
@HUN_gattaca_lg Yeah, I know the general assumption here is that Straatford87 manages the exchange but frankly he wasn't very responsive when anyone tried to get in touch with him. Also given that he's a "Global Community Manager" now, the exchange management might as well have been delegated to a lower-tier employee.
