What is going to happen to Battlefield 2 and other EA titles that use gamespy?

So what is going to happen to Battlefield 2's community that still has thousands of players playing it daily? Not mention off the top of my head there's also 1942, Vietnam, and 2142 that use gamespy. There's even Medal of Honor:Allied Assault that still has a fairly active community according to www.gametracker.com .

In addition to that there's also the Star Wars Titles that are still active, like Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast, and Battlefront 2 to name the notable ones. No one can save those except you now EA.

I know this will require a lot more money and effort than I can imagine but please EA, support your great lineage of pc gaming communities that are still active because you guys published some of the greatest pc multiplayer games ever and it would really suck if you stopped supporting them and just let a part of our active culture just die.

Please EA support your players and the very alive culture that you have created.

    BF1942, 2, 2142 cannot die!

    I'm wondering what would EA do...patch these game and make it run Origin account system?

    So its been 4 months since your last update on BF2. You would think after all the players who bought your EA game's and made you millions in the process you would at least support the games you made money off of ? Gamespy sure does not have the funds, GS has and has kept all the good older games online.

    Why would it be so hard to keep some of theses older games online as well. BF2 1.0 This game has kept my clan going for over 10 years. Now its falling apart do to the shut down of GS. Theres alot of players who's PC cant run BF3 / BF4 and or do not like some of the newer games. Plus ive had members buy the BF3 and found them right back playing good old BF2 1.0 . My clan and others know for a fact that theses older games are still in demand and have a huge following.

    EA Please do not forget the time/ money/ and loyal players to theses games . Show us some leadership and support BF2 1.0 version .
