why is there no blood , and blood effects in battlefield 1943 ?

just like i already asked what is bathering me for a very long time , why is there no blood , and blood effects , when you shoot some one you dont have blood splattering , and no blood at the ground too , very unrealistic , also it would have been cool that just like in soldier of fortune that when you make a headshot , that the head is gone then 

but siriously , how much work is it to just update the blood effects in it ?

i almost play this game everyday , and i dont ask much , i just want the game works , and that there are blood effects in it , i have been modding games on the pc for a long time like counter strike source , i know this is not much work , to just put blood effects in it
