Will the issue of lost campaign data on BF4 ever be fixed?

I purchased BF4 when it was released on X1; played a couple of MP maps and didn't play anymore until 6/30/14.  All patches have been applied and started playing the Single Player.  Played for a couple of days and made it all the way through the Kunlan Mountains and beat it on 7/5/14 and had started on the next mission.  Couple of days later boot up to play some more SP..all progress gone back to the beginning of the Singapore level.

I don't want to start again and then loose all my game save data because I don't play everyday.  Not good especially since I suck at driving the tanks on that level lol.

So will there ever be a patch for this issue? Doubtful.  I'll never get BF game again now.
