Will there be a fix to the fullscreen mode issue in BF1 with mobile NVIDIA GPUs?

A lot of people with the M versions of NVIDIA's graphics cards still have the problem of not being able to play Battlefield 1 in fullscreen mode, despite all tries to fix it themselves. It's more than obvious that it can't really be fixed by a simple graphics driver reinstall or anything like that. So... will a fix to this be provided anytime soon or was it just thrown away money?

Answers HQ is a place where gamers help fellow gamers with issues they might be having, in this case technical.

What you want is an answer from Dice about the contents of the next patch or what they are working on or a statement from Nvidia directly - these 3 things are however not being announced on this forum. Besides a few developers sometimes answering on Twitter and Reddit all annoouncements are usually on on Battlefield.com and Battlefield's social media profiles.

In short, you are asking the wrong place.

I also have this problem and i cant find anything anywhere about any time or work being put into fixing this issue,

is nobody from DICE/EA really looking into this? Been a month since release in 2 days and still no fix for this issue.

This is a huge problem but yet so smal.. I have been searching and trying all possible "solutions" for weeks with no success, only

solution so far seems to be upgrading to windows 10 (assuming you dont have already) but with windows 10 installed

my computer uses 45 - 52% of my memory, 40% at its lowest WITHOUT battlefield 1 or anything else running (while idle)

which makes the game crash after about 20minutes of playing from my pc overheating (it gets really hot,

afraid my computer is gonna break kinda hot) i have tried all kinds of "solutions" for this too but without success..

I dont know what to do and its driving me crazy! Ever since the game was revealed ive been patiently waiting

counting the days to release and when the game finally dropped and i could afford it it runs like *..

The beta worked just fine and i didnt have a single problem except 2-3 crashes and my expectations

getting even higher from having so much fun playing but thats it, wouldnt have been a problem if the actual game worked like it should but it doesnt and

its so frustrating. I dont have alot of money and i chose to invest the little i had at the time in buying battlefield 1 and it seems to have been a mistake..

Me aswell as you and many others really wants to play this game so someone really needs to fix this and not only this

but all problems people have encountered with this game..

    Playing on a Lenovo Y700-17ISK 17.3"

    Windows 8.1 Pro

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300HQ CPU @ 2.30GHz

8.00 GB RAM (7,86 GB usable)

    64-bit Operating System

Intel(R) HD Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M

@MrLightBulbMan You are playing on a laptop running below minimum system requirements hardware and are complaining about overheating (an issue the creator of this thread didn't even mention). When people try to run a game and are not living up to the minimum system requirements they should expect issues. Laptops are often overheating, it's nothing new as laptops are more often than not properly cooled. Have you tried a laptop cooling pad?
