Will using Flawless Widescreen for single player get me PB banned?

So I wanted to know something. I found a fix for BF4's fov issue but I wanted to know if you guys would allow this or not.

I wish to make sure it's ok to use this because the single player fov is far too low for me and I wish to bump it up.

I have already contacted Even Balance with the same message and here's their response:

Note #2: Hello,

You will need to contact the game developer/publisher to find out what game modifications are acceptable for use. Modifications not intended by the game developer/publisher can be seen as cheating and may at some point be banned for.

PunkBuster is designed to specifically catch cheat programs running in memory at the time a game is being played. Any process which modifies or manipulates the game may at some point be considered a cheat.

Legitimate third-party programs acting in a way which is not allowed while on PB enabled servers, would trigger a "Restriction" kick. That is not a violation kick, and would not result in a ban. In general, you should shutdown all unnecessary applications/processes/services on your machine before connecting to a PunkBuster enabled server. This is the best way to insure that nothing on your system is interfering with PunkBuster.

So basically I need an answer from either DICE or EA about this.

This is a community based support forum where gamers help fellow gamers, so you can't expect EA/DICE to respond in here as it's not direct customer support.

Now, I believe nobody has answered you because nobody here knows the answer or can say something besides what you have already been told. The program apparently "hacks the memory" which can cause a Punkbuster ban/kick.

It might work, but I don't think you will find anyone promising you wont get banned as it's a third party program.

    Personally, I wouldn't use it.

Last I recall that program can't change the fov in the single player.

Unfortunately you can not change the field of view in a single game. This option was not foreseen by developers. (Perhaps there is a reason.)

At the moment, the field of view You can change the a multiplayer game.

    Good luck.

I guess you could use flawless widescreen for singleplayer and the other thing for multiplayer.
