Windows Application Error Event 1000, can't play this game anymore.

Hello, I bought a brand new computer 2 months ago and my specs are:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 2700X

GPU: MSI Nvidia 1080 Ti

Ram: 16 GB

Samsung SSD 960 1 TB

But everytime when I start playing BF1 it crashes after 15 to 20 minutes. I cleaned the cache, repaired the game from Origin app, set cpu priority to BF1 and nothing worked for me. I play PUBG and other stuff as well, don't have any problem with them. If I can't solve it I'm gonna quit playing. Any help would be appreciated. My error log is (sorry for having it Turkish):

  • I am guessing you run on Win10? Some errors refer to MS .net parts (update .net components via Win Update). Or if you are on Win7 make sure you have the latest Servicepack Installed. But looking at some other logical solution is the temperature/  endurance of your SSD thinking these are mostly connected directly to the motherboard. There is a possibility that there is a read / write cq. communication problem of these components under curtain circumstances (update motherboard BIOS / UFEI + chipset software). If nothing works i would move BF1 to another drive as a test.

  • Hey @Langemarck89,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this.

I noticed you are using AMD, what version of Windows are you running? Have you updated to Windows 1803?

Here are some other things you can try:

    1. Manually uninstall/reinstall Origin:

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/

    2. Clear Origin Cache:

    https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/How-do-I-clean-the-Origin-cache-files/td-p/4701923

    3. Perform a Clean Boot:

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

    4. Run Origin as Administrator, and the Battlefield 1 exe file in your Program Files as Administrator.

    5. Create a new Temporary Windows User account, and try to launch the game under that Account

Try these steps, and let us know if you're still having issues.

    Thank you 🙂
