Wont let me play online

i logged onto battlefield 1 today and it says update required to play online? I went to my downloads and no update there, anyone have any ideas what to do?

if you play on ps4/XB1 press the options button then go to check for update, if there is one it should start to download

I have tried closing application and starting again....surely someone should know something

Which system are you playing on?
Is there enough free space on your HDD?

I have enough space and when I don’t have enough space I get an error message saying such and such can’t download because there isn’t enough space but no such message
