Xbox 1 - Multiplayer matchmaking failed unknown error occurred

Since Oct 28, I have not been able to connect to a BF1 multiplayer game. Everytime after I login I get and click on quickmatch, server browser, or operations I get "matchmaking failed an unknown error has occurred". I have reset my xbox, reinstalled the game, and reset my modem with no luck. BF4 works fine for me along with other multiplayer games. Gamer tag is Draugmor3001. Need help.

Interesting..........

I was convinced this problem was exclusive to xbox one. Look like it's more widespread than we thought. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully the next patch can fix this.

I don't think it's a game related issue. I've seen posts where a different battletag on the same computer can play without any problem. It seems profile related.

There is also a topic open on their other forum about this:

Btw on all the other BF games I never had this problem.

Update Nov 8 - my case for EA technical support now shows resolved, but I am getting the same " matching failed unknown error occurred " message. Guess it's not resolved. Going to call tech support tomorrow.

Update Nov 11 - Did talk to tech support on Nov 9 and my case got routed to the wrong department to resolve my issue. My case is still being worked on and so far no update on its resolution. 13 days and counting since this error occurred.........

Update Nov 14 - no word yet or update on my case from EA support. 16 days and counting...

Thanks for keeping us updated.

FYI, I can also log in to Titanfall 2 and play multiplayer with no problem. Every other EA game works no problem.

Looks like the patch fixed the issue for me. Hope everyone else has the same luck!

The patch also fixed the problem for me! Still missed out on 2 weeks of gameplay but its good to be back. Good luck everyone!

I also am now having this problem. Any fixes? I get the error. I can play all the other Battlefields just not Battlefield 1.
