(XBOX 360) Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Server Status
So BFBC2 is currently free to gold members on the xbox 360, and so far many of you noticed how hard it is to get connected. Let me just share some information with you that you'll need to know if you're planning on playing this bad boy.
1) If you want to connect to the servers you'll need to go to their store and download VIP, don't worry it's currently free.
2) Obtaining the free VIP will not allow you to get nam or onslaught for free, you'll still have to pay for those if you weren't VIP before recently.
3) Currently if you buy nam or onslaught, you won't be able to play them. There use to be BFBC2 updates that you'd download from their store, but for whatever reason they took them away. You do however need one of these updates in order to see nam or onslaught in the main menu. So if you just purchased their on sale **bleep**, you were indeed ripped off.
4) There are currently "0" official xbox 360 servers, but don't worry, you can actually play if you spam the join button five hundred times in row. You'll eventually enter a full game, which is great. There are maybe 3 servers right now, one conquest, one rush, and one squad death match server. You can play each game mode, but not very well, because so many people just got the game like you and you all can't fit in these three servers! =D
5) Now you know battlefield is a fun game, with confusing downloads. You've also learned that each game mode is cool, because you get a full team and it's nice, but you have to wait until you can actually get into a game. Lastly, you just spent all your money on addons because you're a rich man, but they literally stole it because you can't play the **bleep** you just bought!
