Nice link with great info - many thanks again - looks like I am going to have to speak to MS and see what they have to say - its an interesting if annoying problem and funny how it only affects BF4 whereas other games that are larger (and smaller) move back and forth with no issues - weird.

it could be something that has to do with the console. another speculation might be the save data if it forcing it to stay on the internal hdd thats just my thought there isnt any info to back the idea up. whether they are able to help you figure it out or not post back here ill keep researching for a solution

i found another thing you can try if you havent already
Clear persistent storage:
- Press the menu button on your Xbox One controller and select 'Settings'.
- In the Settings menu, select Disc & Blu-ray settings.
- From here, select Persistent storage and clear it.

on this page http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/691088-xbox-one/69672708 6th post someone suggested that the reason the game wouldnt move is because there is an update. now we already know the newest update has been out for a while. is there a way you may delete the update and see if you can move it either before or after the update? the disc may need to be in the drive when attempting
