Me and a couple of my friends have had moore lag issues lately. Anyone got any fixes? I have rebooted my Xbox to clear cache. I got wired fiber internet. 300Mbits down and 300Mbits up. The ingame options always says that everything is good but it is obviously not so. The connectionbars always says 5/5 bars.

@lionking700 it might not be your internet connection but your actual console or console settings. This might help.Go to your xbox settings and got to Connection settings.Then go to test multiplayer connection.when it does the loading don't press continue, press RT, RB,LT,LB. it should open your modem.and check your network and it should say OPEN.If that does not work hold down your xbox button on the console for 45-50 seconds it will give your system a big reboot.OR you could be some of the other xbox users having xbox lag issues and the xbox team is on it.

Have you checked how many gameclips you have saved? It can cause serious hardware lag, at least from my experience

Thanks for replying! I have tried all this. Yesterday it seemed like the lag where still there but also that it might have been a little bit better. I understand that the all the other players have different effects, so I will observe moore this weekend. One thing I don't understand is the difference in ping or latency. If I check on the Xbox from settings-network it is 170! The ingame feature says 50-70ms.

The only way to have better connection is through wired. If you have wireless it may be the problem.

The only way to have better connection is through wired. If you have wireless it may be the problem.

I run wired and have tried hardwire from my fibersplitter.

Or it could just be the way EA optimized, or lack of it, the game.
I have a uverse connection, tested it shows open, detailed 24mpbs down, 5 mbps up, and the game is so laggy it's unplayable. This is the only game i've had any issue with.

This is simply not true. So many people lag even with a wired connection. Wireless, for fact, doesn't make much of a difference.

Dude don't worry theirs a quick fix.....just uninstall lol.
No, seriously this is part and parcel of the Sims 2,3,4 pc and console.
The Sims lags no matter your specs console or version of console
I spent hundreds of £ on Sims 3 and spent countless hours on EA support for the lagging on a pc that surpasses the recommended spectrum 3x, in the end I gave up and uninstalled.
Only came across this becouse I typed in browser Sims 4 console lag just to see before I made another mistake,....thanks you made my mind up😉
