I am having this problem as well. I got off the phone with EA customer service earlier and they said it's been escalated to the developers and they're working on it. Wish they'd address this on their twitter or something.
Could you please try to clear your console cache via resetting your console? To do so, hold your finger down on the Xbox One icon for at least 15 seconds. Try to start a match as soon as your console is back online. You should check our Xbox One troubleshooting guides regarding connection issues as well: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-4/Xbox-One-Troubleshooting-Guide/td-p/1994485

Hi @EA_Valgard - I know I'm not the original poster of the thread. But I tried that and it didn't do anything - see my thread here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-4/Xbox-One-S-quot-Battlefield-4-took-too-long-to-start-quot/m-p/5514029#U5514029 Thanks.
- 9 years agoI found the solution after multiple calls with EA support and whatnot, you just have to restore your console... you dont have to delete all the games just the system. My game is working fine now.
