You are already running another Battlelog game, please exit this game first

Every time I exit the server or get kicked out, I have to restart the entire EA App just to get back into the game. It’s really annoying, and sometimes it doesn’t even work on the first try. Restarting the EaBackground service doesn’t fix the issue at all.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

  • Deleted the EA Desktop and Electronic Arts folders in ProgramData
  • Cleared the cache
  • Completely reinstalled the game (cleaned the registry + removed all leftover files and caches)
  • Reinstalled Windows itself
  • The problem is clearly not on my end — I asked several other players on the server and they have the exact same issue

There were no problems like this back when we were using Origin. The issues started exactly when EA App replaced it — they basically broke Battlefield 3 completely.

    I'm almost certain there’s no real way around this. I’ve been dealing with the same issue, just like many others throughout my 13 years of playing Battlefield 3. Sometimes simply closing Battlelog resolves it, while other times as you mentioned, I have to completely restart the EA app.

    You could try using different browsers, in my case the issue tends to resolve itself over time.

    Jas0nWalker​ Choose another server and you still see the same message just ignore it but wait until it completed the joining process. Then click the game icon on the taskbar, enter the game and  exit the game from game menu. After exit, go back to the server you want to join. Refresh battlelog before joining.

    BF3 and BF4 are having this problem.
