You might try to scan your harddrive using the built in tool. That could solve the repair not working if you have a bad sector on your harddrive.

13 years agoHi, cheers but still nothing. I've done a sfc /scannow to no avail.
It's really puzzling me.
The only thing left to do is download the whole lot again which I don't want to do as I only have a 2.5Mb connection so it will take days.
Any other Ideas anybody?

"sfc /scannow" only scans protected Windows files and thus it wont scan the Battlefield 3 directory.
You need to right click the harddrive which BF3 is on, then click properties and look for tools and click the error checking tool 🙂

Done that, SSD's and HDD's are fine. ☹️
