"Your trial has expired" despite owning the game

Since the Origin app became EA app, I'm unable to start Battlefield 1. According to the app, my trail has expired (I was an Origin access/EA play subscriber, but I own the full game). Got in contact with EA Help in chat and in e-mail, nothing positive happened. At this point, I'm unable to start a chat session, as I'm getting booted back to the EA help main site. The chat and e-mail support soesn't seem to be able to solve this, are there any other options?

  • E-mail support managed to sort this one out (chat support was unable to do it). Trial restrictions are now lifted.

  • Hi @Leitinho1984 This is something which EA Help will need to help you with. This is because it involves permissions with your account, and it's not possible to have account changes made here.

You can try these steps as they should get you a live chat:

    - Go to help.ea.com.
    - Search for "The EA App".
    - Select the "I need help loading my game" option.
    - Choose the chat option (it gave me both chat and email).

  • just delete the origin/electronic arts related folders from %appdata%, works like a charm
