youtube monetize for battlefield games

I have a youtube channel and I want to make a few videos of BF2 and BF2142. They are actually old gameplay I recorded with the battlerecorder from back when I was playing the game 24/7. Now time has passed and I want to show how much fun this game still are. The videos are going to be done professionally and overall focusing on only the positive side of the game from big fans, my friend and I. I want to make clear that it won't have any other kind of music other than the one from the game. Now, My question is can I monetize the video on youtube? Can I allow ads on my video in other words?
