1070 max-q HORRIBLE performance
MSI GS65
Frame rate on DX11 avg 45fps
Frame rate on DX12 avg 60fps, but with major dips to below 40.
GPU usage 40-70%
Lowering the graphic settings just lowers my GPU usage without giving me any performance boost.
Game is pretty unplayable right now.
Have you tried the following?
Open up "NVIDIA Control Panel" -> from the NVIDIA Control Panel, select the "Manage3D settings" from the left column -> click on the Power management mode drop down box and select "Prefer Maximum Performance".
Seen this on GTX 1080s, another option is to disable DX12 from ingame.
