8v8 Tactical Conquest esports or tournaments please!

Why could we not have the new Tactical Conquest mode be an esports mode? It is small enough that teams of 8 could face each other and feel more like the 6v6 Call of Duty Esports or the 5v5 Rainbow Six esports. With the game not having any major content updates in the future why not give players more of an incentive to keep playing. I would love this to be in the game and it would make Battlefield V even better. 🙂

    It was abandoned so they could focus on improving the main game (and we know how that turned out). However now that content support has ended there is no chance they'll look to add it. 

    As @flyinghorse101 mentioned Squad Conquest is probably the closest you'll get at this point. Even then you'll need to set up a Community Game for it, as SC was removed as a permanent mode due to lack of popularity (they said the player counts were lower than even Firestorm).

    @MrNifler I love this idea, but I think the game breaker is lack of a good enough anti-cheat. Without turning this thread into a cheat rant, this game has possibly the worst level of cheats out of any previous battlefield titles, so to bring this to an Esports level in any form would be very difficult at this stage.

    It's a great idea tho and I think they should take this on board and think about it for future battlefield games at least.

    @ElliotLH Mm in my opinion squad conquest was very popular. At least in Europe. ah well, 4 months BFV to go and then for me it’s time to focus on something else.

    @flyinghorse101 That was my impression too. TBH that's why I found them making that comparison at the time a bit odd. I thought Firestorm was much, much less popular.

    @MrNifler You can make your own esports with a community. I setup an esports tournament in February this year for our Xbox Oceania community and we're nearly finished with our second season now! You can absolutely make Squad Conquest into a Esports gamemode with the right people and determination
