Summarize your bug The aperture 2x scope is bugged for all applicable Assault class guns. The ADS depth of field effect remains enabled on this scope even when "ADS DOF Effects" is turned off in the graphics settings. The magnitude of the effect can be reduced by lowering the "Post-Process Quality" setting, but it cannot be completely disabled as it can in the 3x scope. This bug is replicable.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? My graphics settings are as follows - Antialiasing Post-Processing set to LOW, Ambient Occlusion set to HBAO, all other graphics settings set to ULTRA. DX11/DX12 setting has no effect on this test. In Settings > Video > Basic, turn off the "ADS DOF Effects" setting. In-game, select any assault weapon (i.e.: STG 44) with the Medium Range 3x scope attached. While in-game, press right-click to ADS and the DOF effect does not surround the scope, proving the effect is disabled. Redeploy and attach the Aperture 2x sight instead. Press right-click to ADS and there will be a DOF effect erroneously surrounding the Aperture sight. Navigate to Settings > Video > Advanced, and set the "Post Process Quality" setting to LOW. ADS with the Aperture 2x sight again, and you will find that the DOF effect is reduced, but not eliminated.
What happens when the bug occurs? The ADS DOF effect remains enabled on the Aperture 2x sight even though the effect is disabled in the graphics settings.
What should be happening instead? The ADS DOF effect should not surround the scope of the Aperture 2x sight when the "ADS DOF Effect" setting is disabled.
