@Mirgreaf Are you using your headset for both audio and communication in-game?
If so can you go into your system sound settings and ensure that both your audio playback and communication are set to default.
If that does not help can you try another device, even a pair of headphones that you can plug in just to test would be fine.
Let me know how you get on.

@EA_Darko Only using it for audio output. I set the bluetooth headset to "default" but that didn't help. Sound only works for me with regular audio out from motherboard.

@Mirgreaf It's most likely an output issue given that it works from the motherboard, I would imagine that it has something to do with your mic and audio device being on the same wavelength so to speak. Try disabling your mic entirely to see if there is any difference to the sound in-game.
First thing to do is go through Microsoft's recommended troubleshooting steps for any sound issues: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ie/help/4026994/windows-10-fix-sound-problems
You can also troubleshoot your audio devices from the notification panel in the lower right of the screen. This will search for any issues and attempt to fix them.
Let me know how you get on.

The bluetooth headset works in every other game. So I am not sure where to start debugging on my end since the headset works fine. Especially considering BF5 works with it until the actual map loads.

@EA_Darko Actually it is still doing it but it worked once in game. My mic is set to the motherboard's audio not the headphones' but maybe BF5 is activating that when it turns on VOIP?
