Cannot log into EA through steam

Good day,

I have no idea what to do. With the recent sale on the Battlefield franchise on Steam, I bought BF 5, and when I try to play, EA wants me to log in. I do that through Steam for the first time, and it sends an OTP, but I do not receive it.

I do not know what to do.

I have logged into the EA account via the email (the same one that I share with Steam) and I do receive the OTP and when I try to link the Steam account that way( As in through the EA account), it says that that my steam account is already linked to my EA account with the SAME email that I used to log into the EA account I am trying to link to the steam account.

I don't know what to do!

I have looked at the support page, and it is useless.

I tried the live chat, waited 3 hours, only to miss the 3-minute window I had to respond, and now I cannot get the help of an adviser for this issue

Any help would be appreciated.
